About me

Jon Sterk is an Electrical Engineering graduate student at the University of Michigan, and faculty research assistant at the Joint Quantum Institute in the Department of Physics at the University of Maryland. He studies Atomic and Optical Physics in the Trapped Ion Quantum Computing lab, where he is developing integrated trapped ion photonics.
